# What DVC costs

Davidovs Venture Collective is a venture capital firm, not a product: there is no price
list. What it costs depends on which side of the table you are on.

## Founders: nothing

Pitching DVC is free: the founder form takes no payment and there is no listing fee. DVC
also charges the companies it backs nothing — not for introductions, not for the
collective, not for the software it builds for them. It invests cash for equity ($100K–$300K
at pre-seed and seed, $1M–$3M follow-on at Series A/B into its own seed portfolio), so what
it earns from a company it backs comes from that stake. What the funds charge their own
investors is a separate matter, below.

## Investors: in the offering documents

Each fund has its own terms — the management fee, the carried interest and the minimum
commitment — set out in that fund's offering documents rather than published here. DVC's IR
team shares them with accredited investors who apply at
[app.theoss.ai/invest](https://app.theoss.ai/invest).

## Everyone else: free

There is nothing on dvc.ai to buy: no subscription, no paid tier, no API with a price per
call. The site, the portfolio pages, the State of AI report and the machine-readable files
an agent reads are all free and open.
