    First version of DVC was created and open sourced. First users.

  • 2018

    Iterative, Inc was incorporated. First hires.

  • 2019

    More development on DVC. Adoption of the tool significantly increased.

  • 2020

    DVC 1.0 was released. New product CML was released.

  • 2021

    DVC Studio product release. First enterprise customers.

  • 2022

    Model Registry and VS Code extension were released.

  • 2023

    DVC 3.0 released. DVCx development.

  • 2024

    DVCx release (coming soon).

The Team

We build DVC CLI, DVC Studio, DVC VSCode extension and other developer tools for machine learning. We're a well-funded, remote-first team on a mission to solve the complexity of managing datasets, ML infrastructure, and ML models lifecycle management.
